Most people don't realize, but the oil you buy at the store is not the same the top race teams buy. Tony Stewart's team doesn't buy their Mobil1 at Walmart. They get custom blends just for his car.

M1 Ow40 is supposedly a worldwide oil, same blend everywhere. People that have been in the pits at ALMS and Euro races swear that M1 0w40 is used out of the bottle. Porsche endorses M1 and may get some sponsor $$ ?... who knows... but it is a fine oil and will do the job.

In the Mobil 1 world you have the Walmart one with reduced additives to be friendly on the street to your Cats, and then you have the more racecar usable Racing Oil. Still we switched years ago to Motul.
