WOW!! That is a lot of car for $98K! I know we had well over $300K into that car and it was always a strong car. Freshen the motor and you have a powerhouse!

I like the car, but problem is I checked with PMNA and the WC motor times out at 35 hours and costs $50,000 to rebuild and another $50,000 every 35 hours is really steep. The current motor has 50 hours on it so 15 hours overdue for rebuild?

$50,000 is for the top of the line World Challenge build. You should be able to get a fresh 3.8 rebuild worth 440-460 for much less. PMNA rebuilt my old 3.6 liter WC to a 3.8 Grand Am spec for about half of that. That engine should be good for 60 hours, easy.

To be honest, the extra 30HP isn't worth the extra $30K and 25 Hour loss of engine life. 99.9% wouldn't notice as the car is quicker without the extra power. It was only needed at the time in pro racing running against other marks. An equalizer so to speak. It does sound better, but that's a high price to pay. 8900 Redline.
The car will need a motor rebuild at some point, but 35 hrs or 50 hrs really doesn't impact the rebuild cost. It still runs great and crankcase pressure is normal, happy to send latest data.
It's a great car and i'm only selling due to other commitments.

How many hours can that motor go wothout risking a huge failure? There have been 2 recent 3.8 upgrades that have sold for 100,000, an 08 and 09 and both with close to zero time on trans and motor and nicely upgraded with other parts, what is your bottom line price on this car?
