If u need a good sparky in France I have good one, if any further problems.
Thank you for the hint.

Sorry, you have found the limits of my English! What is a sparky ? Electrician, I guess ? ;-)

Trying to troubleshoot my Wheel speed sensor wiring problem, I have tried to hook up the MSA II to see if the ABS sees its sensor and... nothing !

I only get a "ECU is offline". The cable and PC are Ok (tried with the Modas on the ECU connector).

One question : Does your MIL light then stop when putting ignition ? (engine off) Mine doesn't :-\

I hope that it is not the damn Bosch pump/ECU thing !

You definetely have something going on with your electrics!

Do you mean the DIAG-light? It has to stays on until you start the engine. Then it switches off (if everything's fine).

Sure you didn't plug the cable into the ABS-system?

Yep, it is going to be an electrical winter !

The lamp never glows... And I don't remember if it worked on the last couple of track days. Fuses checking to come...

Some news about my ABS fuss :
Still impossible to connect with my laptop with the MSA II Box (which works fine with the Modas/ECU). The DIAG lamp never glows as it should, putting on the power and ignition, or turning the **** to 12. (I havent tried to start the engine but should not be mandatory to test, I guess). Have checked the fuses, the power in the connector (ABS pump side), and all seems ok. I have checked the bulb of the MIL/DIAG in itself and it is ok.

I am going to try to start the engine to see if the light comes on, but after that, no way I am testing all the wiring before probing the ABS unit (too cold to do that in my garage).

Does anyone know how to have it tested in France or Europe ? (even sending to Bosch, but impossible to reach the French office of Bosch Motorsport)

If it doesn't glow with the ignition-switch on it also won't go on if the engine's running.

I guess that it doesen't get electricity...

Check the wiring and send it back if you don't find sth.

I haven't asked them. Their English, and especially their sparky's is not very good. So bad they weren't able to explain me I had to change the settings for the wheel sensors and how to connect to the system, as I had asked.

My fear is that there is a problem with the ABS unit (which should still be under warranty - less than 1 year old), but I have no way to test it. Do you know for how long these things are under warranty ? (found nothing in Bosch documentation and website)

I have no idea how long theyīre covered under the warranty! But I think KMP is also a Distributor of the Bosch ABS. Maybe they have sth. to say about your problem...

But honestly: You paid them to install an ABS-system in your car and it doesenīt do itīs job! So itīs their thing to just get it right... If I sell a service to someone and it does not work, itīs me who is responsible to find a solution to make it work and not my customer!
