Default 991 GT3 Cup lap times

Can anyone give me any idea of what lap times the 991 Cups are running vs 997 Cups on the same tracks ? I know the differential was pretty minimal earlier, but assume set ups and performance has approved. I'm not sure where to find details on Supercup history. The general chatter is that the 991 should be over 1 second quicker on a typical track. That seems pretty weak to me considering the various improvements. Any info would be helpful. I need to make a decision soon....

You can find all supercup fastest laps for race and quali for each year on the Porsche website.

Example for Spa:

Thanks. I just looked at the history. Time differential looks underwhelming. Seems there is some development yet to be done.

I drove one at supercup this year

In spa the car is 2 seconds faster
Sean Edwards was the first guy ever to take eua rouge flat ..because better grip and aero over the 997

I have 2x 991s coming

I'd say on a small track ,About 1-1.5 seconds

Totally different car to 997 and it took the teams a while to sort out setup

Thanks Karl. PMNA was supposed to have one at Road Atlanta this week, but didn't bring it. First deliveries here may not be until January, but allocation and decision time will probably be in the next few weeks. I am sure there will be even more time to be found as the car is further sorted and set up.

Also do not forget at this level teams set up the car for the exact circumstances of the day. There can be huge tracktemp differences in Spa from one year to another (and I can know it ), and the griplevels also vary a lot, so it is hard to compare different years and draw conclusions.

True it's really back to back on the day .. I went around oulton park in a 06 car quicker than a 11 ..! All on the day.. Too many variables but the 991 is defo faster

Rast did a 2.06.5 at 12 cup around Silverstone GP track
And this year in 991 pole was a 2.05.1

So 1.3 faster

Ohhh I look forward to get into one of these!
We wait until the end of the next season before we get one (if the problems with the gearboxes are solved)...

Gearbox problems are all solved ... There are 30. Odd minor changes to the 14 cup over the 13 supercup hense why they run a year before in supercup with large factory support

I think they had some issues with the software and some mechanical problems. Don't know exactly...

@ Karl: I saw that they added a rainlight... What else did they change? Some other important things?

Gt3r is faster ..but the 991 cup splits the 997 and the gt3r

But a good gt3r is still 270k euro in 13 spec

As Karl said the R is faster, but also much more expensive to run!

There is a used 13 R for sale. I think it was 297.000€.
