haha...Ohio in April I guess.

I've driven a car with the 7.25 clutch and it was hard enough to manage, that 5.5 must be a chore at anything other than flat out conditions.

I saw you there Audi but was too busy to stop in and say Howdy! plus you needed a sled to make it across the paddock...I was the guy in the slow, white 996 cup trying to find 3rd gear all the time...

You could fix that by putting stock GT3 gearing in your car, I never leave 3rd other than the back straight

Sounds like a syncro to me too. Wouldnt a clutch issue be in every gear? The G50 syncro can be installed wrong and "sort of" work. I did this once and only figured it out 4 hours before the customer was coming to pick up the car. Doh!

I've worked on a Cup with a 5.5 Tilton and the problem we've faced a few times was that the throwout slave failed. Recently (the last replacement) I found that Tilton bearing supplied with the throwout assembly is rated for 8,000 RPM max. No wonder we had issues. Tilton has one that is rated for "high speed", I'll try to find the part number, but I remember that it has "HS" at the end of the number
