I've gone to 996TT black axles as well. Interestingly, the old part number has been superseded and the new axle is abot 20% thinner in diameter (and lighter as well). I was initially concerned that this was the non-turbo axle from the C2 but was reassured that they are a new version of the 6TT axle...

At least I can report that my wheel sensors are working again

Just bought blacks from Sonnen Porsche. By the far the cheapest place I have found at 850.00 a piece.
