My uncle's business partner is brokering this car, I"m not sure if this helps any of you or not but figured no harm in posting in case someone is looking for an RSR. I have not seen this car in person, cannot speak for it and it is NOT currently located in the US. I'm not even sure this qualifies as a "real" RSR since it was built from spares.

Funky wing and mounts! Good price if all the parts are real.

+1 on the wing mounts. The GT3R/RS/RSR had the wing mounts fixed to the chassis, where as the Cup variants had the wings fixed to the decklids.

Definitely worth a call to 911 Design to confirm that they built this car. Could be a killer Club/trackday car.

Is that built on a cup tub? Out of a street car?

Mike - only the later RSRs had the wing mounted to the chassis. Most of the 996s had it on the deck.

Really? Our Region CDI had a GT3R and his was mounted to the chassis. Actually, his brother had one too, also mounted to the chassis. Is yours mounted to the decklid? Interesting.

Sorry for the hi-jack...

Built from Cup tub not street car.

I'm advised that the wing blade is correct and the proper uprights for the wing are still with the owner of the car. The wing uprights pictured were constructed per the owners request to position the wing differently.

I asked about wing mount on lid vs. chassis
Response: "The uprights are bolted to the "Frame" of the engine door. It is fixed to the car and it does Not move when you open the door"

Car is located in Argentina not Europe

Regardless of the wing, I bet this car hauls a**. I used to go out to Willow Springs when I lived in LA, and Beggs' always brought some quick cars. Sounds like the engine is running without restrictors, which is nice.

Nice looking car.

Mike, my car has the wing on the deck. Just checked my parts books, looks like the R and RS had it on the deck but the RSR went to the chassis.

Interesting. Now I'm gonna have to look next time I see them at the track. You know it's gonna bug me until then too.
