Default Introducing myself & 996 R advice

After having been a long time lurker of the very usefull informations of the forum, I think that it's time to, at last, introduce myself.

I'm located in France (Grenoble, near Lyon) and the proud owner of a 2008 997 cup since October 2011 and also had the chance to get a 2000 996 R in August. I race the cup in local club races.

The 2008 is soon to be upgraded with SACHS shocks from a 2004 996 and Bosch M4 ABS, thank to the advices provided by the forum. (All opinions welcome !)

I haven't got the service manual and the parts lists with the 996 R and the Porsche guys around there don't seem to be able to get it from Porsche Motorsport.

Teams & workshops around there are not so open to helping the little club racers (sure, they have some work to do, but...) and there are not a lot of skilled people on the rare 996 R.

As the R needs some refreshing, anyone who could point me in the good direction or have a copy of these will be really welcome.

Cedric

Salut Cedric!

Just send an e-Mail to Porsche Motorsport directly! Normally they're super helpful so getting a manual for a GT3 R shouldn't be difficult!

Maybe we'll see each other at the track next year! Hockenheim on the 31.05. with the Porsche Club France Motorsport is a fixed date for me!

Hallo Yannick ;-)

Do you have an email address for Porsche Motorsport, by any chance ?
Nô Hockenheim for me, but will be at Manthey at the end of January for the ABS. Will stay around for 3 days...

@Surbum : I'm gonna send a MP to Claycos too

Thanks for your help !
