the curbs were wet and track not good , I did only half hour of test .. but that car is amazing .
Hope in the next weeks to do a longer test drive.

@Rickard , yes all Gt3R has ABS ( conti teves) , I race since 2 years with my 997 Cup with ABS ( Bosch Motorsport M4 ) in Italian Gt and VLN and the system is different , in Gt3R you have more feeling with the pedal , i think thanks to the better calipers and brake pumps ....
for the paddle shifts .... the car is easier to drive because during the braking you can use all your "brain" in the braking and not to the downshifting
I know some tuners that does a similar equipment for Gt3 Cup / Gt3 RSR


@Yannick : this car is from my Italian Team , they use the car only in Italy .... it's up to you but it's difficult for them bring the car in Germany
for sure I'll do VLN + 24h 2013 with my Gt3 Cup in Sp7 , I know you are near Nurburgring , if you want ...

this is my last vln ( qualify time done by a very good driver 8.39 with Pirelli used for 2 laps by an other driver )
I need only more parctice on the Nordschleife : in same points I have ... fear : )

Getting down to italy for a small test in addition with a nice weekend @ the mediterran sea isn't a problem for me... Much easier to travel there then to bring the car to Germany!

If you attend the VLN next year I'll come over for a small visit

awesome track - what a massive home straight! You were in 6th for a long time!
saw one of the R's in the Ebi motorsports shop near como a few months back after it had a little óff' - needed new LCAs among other things. Hope you get to go back soon when its nice and dry.

The GT3R does blip on downshifts. There was one at the Road America PCA event, and it was pretty awesome to see.

Now, I just need to go out and make millions of $$$ to afford one...

Sergini, seems like an awesome car that GT3R. It just covers up all the bases I feel are missing on the regular 997.2 Cup to bring it up to true modern racecar spec.

Is the gearbox based on the RSR one? If so, then running costs shouldnt be a lot more than a regular Cup other than that expensive Box.

Spa was fantastic ,the best race I've done ( I won the Blancpain End Series Cup Class that year ) , we were second in Cup Class at 6 am , and the clutch was broken ... 50 meters after the pit entry .... in the little straight from bus stop to source ..... race over
