Please don't be too harsh on me, but...
Cup races in national Cup series
RSR races in GT class (ALMS, LM)
Where does the R race? What series is it?

the 991 cup will be a lot closer in performance to the current GT3R. Will have less power but better chassis and better suspension design.

GT3R has a lot more power. Rpm range is higher. Steering is much heavy. I did not mess with the traction control. I left it where the owner set it, but would have liked less TC. The tires were at the end of their life and I would have preferred less interference.
The brakes are huge. Stomp on them without worrying about locking up. Trail braking very deep and at speed is easy and leaves you secure that you are not going to lose the rear of the car.
The acceleration feels like a quantum leap when compared to the '12 Cup.
The Cup feels much lighter and nimble in comparison and not nearly as stable. Brakes are still fantastic but one needs to be very careful not to come on too hard unless you'll square them off. Took some getting used to after the GT3R's ABS.
Similar cars but completely different experiences.
The paddle shifters worked really well and without drama.

Do you think the heavier steering comes from diffrencen in servo or in steering rack or maybe becose of the 27 wide tires..?
And brake size is the same but diffrent calipers, do you think it was the ABS that made them feel better or was it something else..?

The steering is probably a function of the wider wheels and tires. I didn't want to give the impression that it was too heavy or bad just very noticeable when compared to the '12 Cup on back to back runs. Compared the the GT3R the Cup felt tossable.
The big brake difference is due to the ABS in the R. You can hit the brakes as hard as you like without locking up being a concern. No need to worry about flat spotting a tire. You also have a larger contact patch. The Cup has fantastic brakes but you do need to use them with care.
It was very interesting running a 996 Cup, then the R followed by the '12 Cup. All super fun to drive, but all different.
