Big Race Weekend at Laguna Seca Oct 13-14
This is going to be fun........
Unrestricted sound event means you can let your cars rip with an open exhaust.
Weekend is sold out with Porsches, BMW and and few Audis in the mix.....
Come on by if you are in the area......some of the fastest Porsches, BMW's and Audi's will be battling it out all weekend......
We have both Porsches and Audis going up......all German this weekend.

I'll be there... at least Saturday! Should be good times, fast cars in all the run groups! I registered for both BMWCCA groups on Sat/Sun in the Cup on Yok's.

Thanks KMW.........
Yes, there is nothing like Laguna Seca in Oct...........perfect weather and beautiful scenery.
The Audi's are very cool cars indeed, very different from the Porsche.
My two clients who were racing them there that weekend bought them earlier this year and when I first drove it, I was hooked and thought this would be cool for GMG to support......
And very cool how POC embraces other German marks and they are a fun group to race with.
Next POC event for us will be at Big Willow early Dec with the GMG Porsches!
-3 x GT2 class spec 997 Cups and I hope to have my GT1 Porsche GT2 spec Turbo there as well........

R8 LMS Qualifying
Here were 2 qualifying laps from Sunday, the cars are incredibly fun to drive. I continued to find more time but also pretty scary what kinds of lateral G's these things pull My first time racing with POC and they are a great group, very considerate and had a great time.

Audi makes a spec class car for the LMS Cup in China and they also make these cars for the FIA GT3 class which is homologated to very strict specs.
The cars we have are built to LMS specs and then converted to WC specs.....

They are very quick cars.
I saw 1:28's in qualifying from James and Alex, but was running in a different group so glanced at the results but I might not have caught all sessions.
For comparison I believe I was the only GT3 Cup in the 29's that same weekend (1:29.8 quali in my stock 2010 Cup on Pirelli's), but I was about half a sec off my pace from my previous weekend there in May.

I think Alex or James pulled off a 1:26
Amazing cars, I was talking to myself all weekend long trying to figure how in the world to cut off that much time without taking a shortcut.
