I had the opportunity to run with GMG at this weekend. James, Alex and Anders are not only great drivers, they are genuine good guys. They were more than willing to review data and help in any way possible.
It was a real shame my alternator took a crap and I was only able to run off the lightweight battery each session until the car died.

No doubt the Audi's are very capable.
We got into the low 1:26's....trying different setups on the car.
They are so different from the Porsches.........makes me appreciate both cars even more after racing BMW's, Porsches and now Audis.
Best part about the Audi's, you can run the engines for 20K KM's before a rebuild, which is about 200 hours!!
JR, we will get Dave's car running strong for GT2 at Willow in DEC......he will surprise some people there that weekend....
Dave (Surfbum), you are probably the nicest guy in the paddock so I appreciate that comment very much.......looking forward to getting your special Cup into the 1:22's at Willow!

The Audi's cost a bit more to acquire and the bodywork is a little more (all carbon and it's very nice!) but running costs probably less when you consider the engine and gearbox can go 200 and 100 hours respectively before a rebuild is needed.....compare that to 50 hours and 20-25 on a Cup car and you have a big difference. The engine rebuilds are less than $20K and gearbox is less than $15K.
Plus we run the Audi's with a restrictor and additional weight for WC spec, take that weight out, remove the restrictor, lower the ride height and put the FIA GT3 LMS bodywork back on the car and this car will do 1:24's at Laguna!!

JR, know any good witch doctor's in LA, at this time I am just about willing to try anything.
Maybe I can order some chicken for lunch and save the bones for some kind of dance or chant or something. James would that be extra????
Oh, and to answer your question I got 25 min during Sat's race but by Sunday we could only keep it alive for 15 min.

Some of the sessions are under BMW CCA

but that's all I've been able to find. No results show up for my transponder.

Race 1
Race 2
POC Cup racing and BMW CCA club racing were also part of this event. POC entries were limited to 35 and they were non-points races. POC was also hosting a PDS/TT that same weekend at Fontana so the results they posted on MyLaps were for the PDS/TT. I have not been able to find the results for the POC races that weekend.
