2007 Cup Car - SOLD 11-12-12
Car has been Sold:
2007 Porsche Factory 997 GT3 Cup Car
One owner, purchased new from PMNA – January 2007
Complete mechanical updates competed November 2009 -all receipts are available for review (motor, transmission, wheel bearings, clutch, shift cables etc.).
Motor was redone by PMNA in November 2009 and remains sealed, all internal parts were updated to 2009 specs, except 2007 Cams were retained. ECU was reprogrammed to 2009 spec. This was the first rebuild, the motor had 46.7 hours at the time of rebuild.
Transmission was done by Brian Copans ($15k) including replacing all worn parts and making full upgrades to pinion bracket, side bracket and differential housing in November 2009 and was gone thru again in June of 2012 due to a small piece of debris found during routine oil change (photo attached). So gearbox has 1.4 hours on it since last inspection by Copans.

Motec upgraded including pro logging, 8mb of memory (from 1mg), I/O 50 for reading sensors.

Large cool suit cooler and custom mounting bracket located in dash with on/off and flow rate adjustment mounted in the dash
RSR carbon front air duct
Custome stainless steel air inlet grills in front bumper, installed 9 - 2010
Window nets in drivers window and on right side of driver – updated 1-12
Factory Porsche OMP seat and Factory sliders
2 sets of wheels (1 on car, 1 spare set)
Car History:
Car was club raced in PCA, PRC and POC events in California and Utah. It was purchased new from PMNA in January of 2007. Car suffered 1 minor on track incident in 2007 that required replacement of right front fender and some related hardware (no tub damage), full receipt of parts from PMNA and body shop work available for review. Car has been maintained and detailed after every event and all mechanical running gear is fresh with minimal hours. It is ready to run in club racing, Pirelli Cup or IMSA Cup racing.

Thanks for the nice comments gentlemen. Hate to part with it but my kids travel hockey and baseball schedule is taking up all my time. They car is too nice to just sit - would love to see someone else enjoy it.
