Default NACA Duct Installs

Do any of you have any pictures you would be willing to share of a nice looking but effective install of a NACA duct into one of the rear side windows?

Mine is currently taped to the inside of the window behind the vents and it seems there must be a better way.

thanks in advance for sharing.

Here is a pic, not a cup car, its one of our sprint cup cars but we do our installs the same way. I guess it depends on the type of duct you have. some dont have the mounting bosses

we use 3/16 countersink rivets

Thanks Derek. looks like you would replaced the stock side vented windows then? It is the side vents which is causing me the challenge.

thanks.

we have done both. I did an install last year on one of our IMSA cup cars on the factory vented window, i will see if i can find some pics of it. It definitely make the install a bit more tricky.

Not the cheapest route but here's an alternative for you. http://gt-racing.com/?wpsc-product=9...nacaorig-frame

I've never used GT Racing parts so can't speak to quality though.

Nope, they are different. $375 for the pair with the ducts instaled is a great price!!

Even less if you get only one with the naca duct and also they spposedly fit in stock rubber gasket.

You will need to email them for a "split order" which is what I did.

Theoretically takes about a week + shipping......so will update when they arrive.

Btw, if anyone wants to get rid of some 996 vented 1/4 windows, I am looking for a set.
