Anyone have a stock 6 cup that would be available for an arrive n drive in Austin November 16-18th? With or without trackside?

Pirelli drivers cup in November, the cup is sitting a dougs and I'm either pulling the motor for a PMNA reseal and retrofits or looking for a rental...

I think with all the International Exposure this event will have, VMWARE ought to sponsor all three of us!!!

You are correct, I do need to join you guys on the "wet" side and have plans to do so. I do love the sound of a 3.8 at full chat, and i will swap steering assist for ABS any day.

You, Dave and Rick need to make a pilgramage east in mass with Doug to experience WG, Road America and Mid Ohio. Maybe a 2013 tour could be in the works, I know you guys would be blown away.

I talked to Greg Franz and he said he submitted a proposal to COTA to be a support race for the F1 Event - but he was not confident that Bernie would select them.

Have you heard differently?

Same deal, Greg had sent an email to guage interest, if it goes it would be an amazing opportunity. New track great event, hard to say how the politic goes but I would think PMNA would be pressing hard as well, don't know if Supercup will be in Austin or not.

Mark, yea I am so trying to get this car on some good tracks, ones with grass on the infield. Mid O looks like a real possibility, have to see what the rest of the year holds.

 

Greg is supposed to know this week, I already made my commitment. He needed to reach a "x" minimum.
If you havent contacted him you need to do so right away.

 

^^^yup, I did, now just to get the car legal and come race with you guys. Looking also at sears or back to laguna as well.

 

Dave thanks, I've got the factory early cup exhaust, cats no mufflers, not sure how Pirelli cup works the sound restricted tracks I know laguna was unrestricted day. Still need Kent to work some magic for an AMP setup...

Ps : Doug told me the S was a monster! Have fun?

Our participation at the event is on the schedule to be discussed by AllSport tomorrow.
I trust we will know something by mid part next week. Both Porsche Motorsport and Pirelli have formally stated in letters than they would like to have us there for the event.

I will keep you all updated.
