I am very sorry about this, it started with an impromptu three word joke, but I got all defensive when people took it seriously. I should know better than to joke about GTC3.8 after all these years. I was feeling grumpy after losing the LRP track record that I owned since '09, and knowing that I need to spend $40K to try for it again next year.
Dan has my UTMOST respect, I have known him longer than almost anyone, even Baron I think, (I wish I was only 20 years older, more like 30!) and Dan has ALWAYS been super helpful and has forgotten more than I will ever know about race cars. We are lucky to have a guy like Dan in the PCA and I refer people to him all the time.
So this old man is very sorry for getting ornery, I hope you can forgive me, I won't be bringing up GTC3.8 any more. I need to get back to work - do you know how many F^%$^%G guitar pedals I need to sell to pay for a 4.0 engine like Baron and Musante's?!?!!
Bill, maybe you can delete this thread and start a new one, I joined the thread to praise Michelin and that's what we should be doing.
