FS: 2001 GT3 Cup with 2 Engines - Needs Top End Rebuild - $39,900
FS: 2001 GT3 Cup with 2 Engines - Needs Top End Rebuild - $39,900
2001 Porsche 996 Carrera Cup. Campaigned in Europe in 2001 and brought to
the U.S. in 2002 with Wagenpass. We traded for this car in 2010 on a new
Porsche from a racer from Dallas, TX. We enjoyed it at a few DE events at
Sebring, Road America and Autobahn Country Club. All systems performed fine
until an oil leak developed around rear main seal. The car was then
inspected by Midwest Eurosport and found to in need of engine rebuild. Also
included with this car is the original spare engine. This engine has a
solid block and crank, but also needs top end rebuild. $39,900 for car with
both engines.

The car has JRZs that are in good condition. Trans needs synchros as it requires a careful touch on downshifts to prevent grinding. Not sure of hours on entire car. It has had some bumps along the way, not sure of severity. Car sets up and aligns properly.
