Default FS: new crate 2.7l

for anyone that might be interested or in need.

I have a brand new, in the crate 2.7l for a 2007 Porsche Boxster .
Retail is $13625. Core charge is outrageous these days. We just reviewed a new 3.2l for a race car and PNA was asking $17grand (EEEKS!) for the core.
So i can only imagine what a more scarce 2.7l core might be.

but alas, this motor is available, brand new in a crate, without any core charge needed!!

perfect for E or F class boxsters (various years) or for a grand am boxster motor or otherwise....

yours for $14,000.00

PM if interested.

Retail is $13625. Core charge is outrageous these days. PNA these days is asking huge values for core values, core turnins. For these they are asking $17grand (EEEKS!) for the core.

This motor was never installed. we took it out of the box, sealed it in wrap, and then put it back in teh box. it was to be our backup spare grand am motor but was never needed. the primary lasted virtually all season.

yours for $14,000.00

PM if interested.

thats the plan. we had a pca 987 and a g/a 987. 3.2l vs 2.7. we sold the 3.2l just recently to a fellow rennlister who will run it in PCA. car has been undefeated so far, several wins and a few track records in PCA. the #09 car will get a 3.2l to run some PCA between now and year end, and then we'll stuff our 2.7 race motor in for daytona, homestead and whatever else strikes our fancy.

the 987 boxster is a very competitive car in g/a, and for us porsche guys, its an easy adaptation. Rick Deman has a car, maybe two for rent for a few races. id strongly strongly recommend the boxster for anyone looking to get into the continental challenge.
any questions, PM and id be happy to discuss it.

This was a spare motor we bought but it was never needed. our primary motor went just about the whole season without a hiccup. that will get refreshed over the winter..and hopefully have the same success in 2012.

I believe you should post this in the Racing Forum, you might get a wider attention there. Good Luck with your sale
