2002-2003 Cup Speed Limiter?
Found the description in the service manual. Is this present on the cars of this vintage generally? Have you seen it implemented? Do the 2005 upgrades change how it works?
Upgrade pit speed limiter (2002 / 2003 models only)
Route a cable to the speed limiter switch from the electrical interface between car and rear wiring loom X 2/4 (white, 30 terminal) Pin 30 (0.5 mm brown/red). The cable can be identical to GT3 RS. Connect the switch to earth.
For the ‘connector car’ to wiring loom 1 x socket contact (999.952.567.22)

Is it that this feature is not implemented in these cars or that it is not used in PCA racing? Having driven a G50 with the speed limiting switch on the steering wheel I found it comforting when entering the pits to know I was not going too fast. Now it could be that pit lane was the ONLY place I could have been too fast, but let's not probe that thought.

Not 100% sure of your question. Are you asking if you have one? If so, my 2004 had it in the cruise control stalk. With the button pushed it was activated.
Hope this helps.

The 2004s had it wired in, but the earlier cars it seems needed to be wired to implement the pit limiter. I wonder if anyone here has done that for the earlier cars.
