6Cup window net?

I hate the seatbelt clasp at the front, too easy to hurt yourself getting in and out.
I had a heim joint on the rear of my upper net rod, that worked well to allow it to swing out of the way. Wish I had some pictures.

Thanks, Mike. The car has a eyebolt at the front of the window and a slot in the cage tubing at the back of the window, so that is the obvious place to mount the top bar of the net. The lower bar can be attached to the cage tubing in some fashion. I'm puzzling over the best fittings for the top bar, though.

Personally I really like the spring loaded bar. If I need to get out of an upside down burning car, I don't want to be feeling around for a seatbelt clip, I can just bang the net back HARD and it's out.

do you have to have a window net in a gtc cup car in PCA if you have a closed door?
