Interesting pics. Thanks.
I like how the cage extends neatly through the dash/firewall to the front strut top.
Is there anything that extends forward of the driver's feet?

All years the 997 cups have the cage section that attaches to the strut mounts. The 996 r, rs rsr had that as well.

The 10/11 cup cars are incredible.

And there's nothing around the pedal box to protect the driver's legs?

Is there an "everything you ever wanted to know about Porsche factory 911 race cars, but were afraid to ask" site?

I'm curious to know which years are the "sweet" spots, which upgrades and updates brought important gains, etc.

I will be taking many detailed shots of it on Saturday, so if there is anything you want to see....

Yes, Matt, needs some stickers... I am sure we will be continuing the theme we have used on the Grand-Am car..... Complete with "GT" decals..

just wanted to make note of the Gearbox. We will be taking this brand new gearbox apart and replacing the mainshaft, gear stack and claw collars with parts supplied by Guard Transmission. After our experience with these boxes at the Daytona 24 we believe 100% in running the Guard internals.

Cheers
