Default First time with the cup on the track

Ohmyphaukinggod....

Incredible. Ran the cup for the first time today on Firebird West, a little technical track but this was a shakedown...I've driven GT3 and GT3RS, and my 964's are no slouches but this was amazing...I think I just went from the racing equivilent of sniffing glue to a crackpipe...this is going to be a long term problem...you all should be ashamed for keeping it for yourselves...

It took a bit to get enough heat in the tires, and getting used to the six speed took a bit, but man what a fun ride. The amount of grip, the shortness of the controls and power instantly reminded me of my TM125 moto shifter kart...

Even keeping it at 7/10ths it was fast...

...me likey....

O yes I will lure you to the darkside...if you only knew the power of the darkside...

It was fun, catch you next time out! You doing next week or the instructors retreat at indy? I have to figure out how to get Roy to crew for me more often, guy could get spoiled like that! I have a lot to learn on this one, as said my 7/10ths is leaving a lot on the table...

I'm going to have a hard time getting back in the spec car...

Jim,

I'm out of town this coming weekend. Unlikely I'll get to the track again before November. Bummer.

Roy is a great guy. We just need to send Brian out of town more often so he is available to crew for you.

Have fun!
