Here is my video from Sebring: http://www.driversmeeting.com/pcarroll/blog/5/

The first is a camcorder and the other two are the POV.1

It's also mil-spec. It's built like a tank.
What did you mount it on? Does it come with a roll bar clamp?

Actually, just the opposite.

VIO just lowered their price!

We never really thought we would be in the camera business, but when VIO approached us and let us play witih it, we fell in love.

It's user friendly, TOUGH, and they are always making great updates.

In our opinion, this puts the other camera systems to shame. The screen on the recording device alone was a major selling point....

I meant the AIM will not be cheap. The POV is a great deal.

When I said the new one is a cheaper version of the old one, I meant because they left off one very expensive (and unnecessary) connector. So the new one should be cheaper and more reliable.

I have it mounted on the same IOPort base as I used with my camcorder. It's the standard one that almost everybody uses. It comes with an adapter you can zip-tie to the rollbar, but I think the camera mount is more flexible. It also comes with a threaded tripod mount.

The trick is to use a Longacre wide angle rear view mirror and get the camera positioned just right so it can also see all the action behind you. How many times have you watched a boring video of a spectacular race because all the action was on your bumper.

The two accessories I really need to get are the extension cable (the stock 1m us a bit too short). And the vehicle power adapter (it also includes a threaded tripod mount for the recorder).
