A normal shift light isn't much of a problem and there are several solutions.

Speak with Geoffrey here at the forum. He knows MoTeC well.

The RSR has a MoTeC Shift Light Module which is a CAN based device and can easily be added to a car with an M800 ECU, ADL-1, ADL-2, ADL-3, SDL, or ACL data logger. It attaches to the CAN lines and requires +12v and ground so we're really talking about only 4 wires. The ADL-1 software isn't as flexible in terms of what it can control as the software for the newer, more current products. These are available from any MoTeC dealer, and the good news is the pricing on MoTeC equipment has been reduced for 2009 due to the more favorable currency exchange rate.
