Thank you subprime markets for destroying my 401k and hacking my year end bonus to sh-t. I don't work 60 plus hours for free. This is BS
I guess that is the price for High Stakes Gambling...Somewhere I read that past performance was not an indicator of future performance...

Geoffrey, I did not take any risks my company did and therefore they are not paying me. Which is BS because I generate revenue not realted to the sub prime markets. My cost center is 50 percent above our target this year.

Your posts are generally useful. This one is bizarre. What's your point?

My point was that almost everyone's 401k has taken a hit and there are many companies that aren't giving bonuses, even for those individuals who are top performers. Anyone with a 401k has the choice of investments, including moving money in and out funds. Finacial investing is in my opinion gambling, you are betting the market will move one way or another. Bonuses are based on performance - performance of the company, performance of a division, performance of an individual. Not getting a bonus this year doesn't surprise me...

Andy,

Sorry to see this. I didn't get to see it on the track. Good luck with the sale.

Me either. Bonuses on Wall St were historically based on an individual's performance. It started to change when Thane went to ML and said they needed to be based on company first. With the huge losses and infusion of gov't (aka taxpayer) money, the days of the big Wall St. bonuses are over.

I also have a 24 foot ATC trailer that is for sale as well. Loaded with everything you need to go racing. 17500 obo. Details are in the classifieds

You could also wait until you have all of the facts for your 2008 comp. You know that drill. They are just lowering your expectations. You worked too hard on that car.
I regret selling my GT3 already. This cab will be for sale in April. Now I have to buy a GT3RS. The net result is that I will have spent more than if I had just stayed with what I love.
OR we could just do 2 spec Boxsters!!!!!

Whats wrong with spec boxsters? Most fun I've had crash one and get a tub for the less than the cost of your exhaust system.
