997 Cup Setup Question
In the Japan Carrera Cup series, there seems to be two school of drivers - ones who prefers stiff stablizer settings versus the ones who set them very soft. At the last round at Fuji, we had the stablizer set at 9/8 (F/R) while other teams had them set at 3/2 (F/R). Our wing setting was at 8 versus the guys with soft set up were using 4 .
Obviously, these two settings resulted in very different driving characteristics; but, the lap times were competitive in both cases.
Would appreciate if you can share some of the prevailing thoughts and practices in arriving at the right stablizer and wing settings on the 997 Cups.
