Default GT3 rotor alternative

Check out these rotors..!
2+ times the life of the factory cross drilled rotors, better performance and less money..!!

We have tested them in race conditions for the last 6 months and have outlasted the factory ones and way better performance. We recomend Pagid Black RS-14 pads for track use.

Introductory price of $695 per set for the front.

Oh - that sounds like an interesting option. A couple of questions:

When you mention performance, have you logged brake force with them? (G-sensor on datalogg)
Any idea how they perform on endurance? (Heat, fade, durability)
Do they heat up quicker or slower?

No G data, but have used them on Cup cars for many PCA enduro's and HSR 2 hour enduro races. We hammer them under race conditions for hours and they feel a lot better than the stock X-drilled ones. And when the weekend is over they still look great.! Try that with a factory one...

Rick I know more and more 6-cup guys are bending the rules as the cars age and factory rotors have always been a weak link. Do you have anything from PCA stating that your beautiful rotors are a legal replacement for the POS factory rotors? A few years back I tried to use Brembos with floating hats and was DQ'd....

I hope they let this go. It's BS that we have to use street car sh-t on these cars. As long as we stay at 350mm we should be allowed to use other rotors. It's more of a safety concern of mine. I have seen a car crack a rotor in half at speed at Mid Ohio 2 years ago. Total wreck, driver was ok , car was scrap metal.

Yikes, they should definitely pass this.

Disc offering is interesting. Any additional forum wisdom on the DeMan rotors?

I installed a set of DeMan rotors, after using up some PFC semi-floating dimpled rotors. The DeMan rotors are, as you would expect, much heavier. However, for me, with PFC 01 pads, the bite was MUCH better and there was no fade at Mid Ohio with ambient temps in the 70's. I've only put 3 days on them, so I don't know yet how long they will last, but they worked REALLY well. Also, now I can use whatever pad I want.
No affiliation, etc.

Hey Chuck,

Thanks for the positive feedback and to see your experience was the same as mine with these rotors.

I have always used the Pagid RS14, and have not used the PFC 01 pads on these rotors yet. Word of caution here, the PFC pads deposit material to the rotor that is NOT compatible with other pads. Once you start with the PFC pads on a set of rotors you must stick with them till the end of rotor life.
