Default 997 cup brake calipers

Would like to know the cup & street GT3 used the same monobloc caliper? Wonder why the cup has 380mm disc and street car has 350mm disc.

The cup uses floating rotors, I don't think they are good on a street car (too noisy?)

yes of course ,bat remember that the 997 cup rotors are 380mm ,so you need to have the PCCB caliper and support . You can change them easly ,but i Think it's better put on 997 Gt3 street the 996 cup rotors ,they are the same and costs the half !

Simon,

Stick with the stock brakes. They are plenty good and they are quiet on the street. There are other places to spend your money where it will make big improvements.

G,

Thanks for the suggestion. Going to spend my money on upgrading the suspension, leaning toward to Moton or JRZ.
