Looks more like an Arai GP5 Peak visor than a Stand21 to me.

We have a winner! Arai GP5 with peak visor. Also came with 2 shields (used without visor) one clear and one tinted. So you have options.

FWIW, I was told that putting your blood type on the helmet and/or suit is a bit of a waste. They said in an emergency it is not used.
(same thing was said regarding my son and karting....we put it on anyways).

The above is true -- you would be tested for blood type in the emergency room regardless of what your suit, helmet, or medical form says. That said, I have it on my helmet as well. Typing errors do occur occasionally, and I'd like to think that they might check twice if the lab disagrees with what's printed on my helmet.

Except that as I recall when I got my PCA license that it was required to be on your helmet.

Don't know if it still is required.

It is still required for PCA Club Racing to have your blood type on your helmet.

Your helmet doesn't go to the blood bank to confirm your blood type when they do the cross match. Your helmet will get thrown on the floor and/or stuffed in a belongings bag as they cut off you suit in the trauma room. Your blood type is much more than a simple ABO rH that most lay people think of. The rules need to reflect reality. Done with the soap box.

Nice helmet!

It has put a fire under my butt to get mine to the local paint shop.

he's right, no way they will go off your helmet. that's for TV shows

in fact, if you think you're getting typed and cross-matched any sooner than the better part of an hour, you're mistaken

it fluids and expanders in the ER. that will keep you a long time, unless you're DONE. in which case it will keep you forever
