I have seen the seat as well and know vb personally. You will have no problems if it is the seat you want.

I love that carbon fiber seat in the 7 cups. just wondering if i can use my 6-cup sliders and side brackets ? I'm getting ready to run the car this weekend. First time of the year. Can't wait !

Yes you can Andy. Just make sure you can fit in it. It is a little smaller then what came in the 6's.

Actually, I think the OMP is slightly bigger then the Recaro that came in my 996 GT3 Cup...kind of between sizes.

If its going to NJ, I'll cover the shipping as well. I purcased the seat as a passenger seat to match my driver seat but never used it...love the seat but don't need two of them.

John, any pics? Also, is this a straight bolt-in for a street 997 GT3RS?

Thanks in advance.

Yes it will bolt right in to your 997 GT3RS.

...it’s packed in a box, so let me see what I can do for photos.

...additionally I have a custom made sub belt bar and side mount hardware from Brey Krause for this OMP seat so that no drilling would be required at all for a street car. Drop in on track days pull out when you want to use other seats.

Again just to confirm...this is a OEM 997 cup car seat by OMP, side mounts and sliders...4 bolts and it's in the car ready to go.

PM me and we can exchange e-mails…have a receipt etc

I am going to keep the recaro it's the origional seat , has some good history to it. The late Richard Burns drove the car so I'll store it or use as a passender seat. If it's bigger then no good for me. The recaro is tight and I like that fitment. Chris said it's smaller so that's good. PM sent

If still available I am interested and can have it picked up if it's in VA Beach.
