Default underbody aero / flat bottom for 996 cup

Curious what 996 guys have done for flat bottom solutions. Any first hand experience with benefits would be great too.

Anyone build diffuser for the rear or tricks for the rear bumper, while my car is a street car I feel like the lack of side mufflers in the rear turns the rear bumper into a parachute.

For flat bottom in general I know people run the 997 underbody paneling on the 996 that covers everything. I mounted a 991R rear diffuser on my m96 but, I am not sure how or if it could be attached to a metzger.

It's tricky because the engine is so darn low.

Also very interested in this :-).

If the 997 cup panels fit I may give them a try...

I had custom carbon under tray made..they plastic ones flex too much and cause the aero to detach. you need something stiffer to make the areo truly work and its a sum of all parts. Splitter, flat floor and diffuser to get the most use

The 996 RSR had a flat floor and rear diffuser. I have 2 of the diffusers (not OE, but nice knockoffs), but not the flat floor middle pieces. I have never run them, Sitting in my shed....

Just purchased brand new OEM 996 Cup PMNA bottom panels to replace the original parts. Goes all the way back to the axles and has all of the cooling ducts. Searched forever to find the correct parts.

Could you post pics of the diffuser, please? Preferably with measurements...

They are in my storage at the shop and I have not had a chance to take some pics. When I get a chance I will try to post up some pictures, - that probably won't be for a week or so. They are pretty standard looking for a diffuser. Also - I did not intend to make it sound like I wanted to sell the ones I have (I got a few PMs...).

Thanks! What I'm interested in is the length and height of the diffuser itself, plus venting/heat shielding.
