Its the classic first year of any all new vehicle and there are many changes needed and upgraded. As time goes on less changes are needed. The '14s have a ton of stuff (starting with the alternator, shifter, fuel mod, shocks, etc). '16s not so much. Then you have the Gen2 vs Gen1 debate with the new motor, tranny, accommodation for GPS, stronger chassis. And as a year 1 of Gen 2 is over, now the year 2 '18s are supposed to be much much stronger in chassis, and few other improvements.
