Cup holder
Cut the rubber bumps out of the cup holder on my '04.
I'm not sure what years the crappy front cup holder design encompasses, but I highly recommend cutting out the rubber protrusions. It makes it worlds better and much more useable. I can't believe it took me this long to do it.
If you want to try it on one side only first cut the bumps out of the wider of the two cup holders (aka. not the one with the stepped bottom).

If the plastic cupholder insert is removed, the larger rectangular opening can accomodate a larger size of beverage.
Agreed just the same that the initial design of the cupholder was quite weak...

If there was something to patch those holes with, I'd consider this mod. Till then....those rubber nubs shall stay.
Can't tell you how many drinks have tipped over in that little space, with and without the plastic cup holder insert. Such a pain in the ***.
