duplicolor wheel "coating".

65 VERY LIGHT "dusting" coats... 1 can per wheel. I beleive i'll be clear coating them too.

I really like this paint. It dries very fast and "hard"

I used that brand paint in a blue shade on my track wheels with a clear coat, but the brake dust ate into them no matter how hard I cleaned/washed them. After awhile, they started to look black. Hopefully, yours will last longer and look good for the street than mine.

this stuff says that it is specifically formulated to make removing brake dust easier.

Mine were track wheels only and the PFC 90 compound pads probably didn't help.

BTW. Your wheels look great. Forgot to say that on my first post.

thanks. This will most likely be track wheels when I can afford a set of OZ superleggera's for the street <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" /> ( no time soon )

Luke, the wheels look great. I painted mine silver over the winter and used the Duplicolor clear coat for wheels on top. I've only got a few hundred miles on them so far, but we'll see.

The white might be doubly hard to keep clean, but it really looks sharp..

luke they look good, I would put a few coats of good paste wax on them after they are all dry too futher the protection against the elements.............

Wax always helped the dust from my portefields come off quick!

wow those look nice!

if anyone wants a set of phonedials, i'm selling mine on the cheap (don't wanna ship them i possible, preferably a local, or i can drive / meet people somewhere). they could use a refinishing, but have almost brand-new snowtires (dunlop wintersport m2, less than 800 miles on them). if you just wanted the wheels i could beadblast and repaint them or something

luke, where can one find "duplicolor wheel paint" locally??
