I can't totally describe this in words. My father has an 87 951 with a long list of engine mods that i can't even list because there are so many. But to sum it up, he's got a tech 2, intake manifold, and other various things all from speed force racing. Now i used to own this vehicle before i sold it to him when i couldn't afford it anymore. I drove it for the first time yesterday in about 2 years, and the car is so freaking fast it's insane. With the stock turbo, 18psi, and 2.7 engine, this car is by far faster than when i had it. When i owned it i ran 15 psi, chips, cone filter, and adjustable fuel pressure and it feels like a whole new car now. And the funny thing is, it technically is running poor at the moment due to bad (overly rich) mixture, and hasn't even been dyno tuned yet (about another 3-4 months b4 that'll happen). I give a big thumbs up to Tim, his helpful service with the first tech that didn't function, and his quality parts. I'd recommend him to anyone who wants real power that won't kill your car.

David,

Mikes car has the old style "box" intake manifold installed. I have a new intake design in mind that we might be offering instead of the TPI chevy style that is on our website. Here is a picture to get an idea of it.

http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/supraintake004.jpg
http://boards.rennlist.com/upload/supraengine001.jpg

Ofcourse this one was built for a Supra so the runners will be coming out of the side for the 951,968.

Hey Mike, your dad is going to call this weekend so we can do a tuning session over the phone to dial in the car better.

Is the old intake inferior to the new one you speak of or is a marginal difference. And i saw your new header for the turbo, i give my thumbs up as that's the first equal length turbo muffler i've ever seen. Don't loose hope, !
