I had a small (75) shot of n20 that I used very seldom on my 99 Corvette coupe I had, just wondering if anyone has a n20 kit on their 996 for a little added boost for ... I don't know really, lol, it's just nice to know it's there.
I have the 3.2l engine. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/beerchug.gif" />

Lol, sorry I just got mine, I am not looking to add it, I am just wondering. (in truth, while I know a lot about Corvettes and a little about Vipers, I know next to nothing about Porsches, thus I am looking to learn.) Someone I ment up with a few days ago with a 03 told me he had the 3.6 and I had the 3.2; Enigne. Is mine a 3.4?

I have seen a car with a N20 kit in a 951 the car looked stupid with a bottle mounted in the hatch area. Looks to ricey for me. Plus I would not want to have to keep putting in money for refill the bottle.
The guy also had a huge wing, 13" white walls and the car was slammed. The car was painted gold.
It was sad to see a porsche so messed up.
I bet the car didnt even have N02 he probably just baught a bottle to make it look like he did.

You want a "fast" car ??? Buy detroit iron.
You want to BE fast??? Buy track time with good instruction!
Not a flame, Mitchell, but "go-fast" goodies can never replace your own driver's skill and experience. Plus, you can even move it from car to car. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="wink.gif" />

I have seen a 928s with a full direct port nitrous kit tapped under the intake runners and with two bottles hidden in the fenderwells! It was a thing of beauty. It blew the 2nd gears syncros to hell!

Check out the potential of nitrous here: <a href="http://fasttrackperformance.com/page5/Chow%20movie%20files/ChrisTTGN.wmv" target="_blank">http://fasttrackperformance.com/page5/Chow%20movie%20files/ChrisTTGN.wmv</a>

You guys take the cake. A new owner asks a simple question & you guys do everything but trash his mom. How are all you defenders of the crest so shure that Mitch cant drive. You defenders think that unless you've been to a DE you're incompetent behind the wheel. From the pictures I've seen, there's plenty of incompetence AT the DE's, by instructors & students alike. Remember the old adage about what it means to assume. Enjoy your car however you see fit Mitch. Not everybody that owns a Porsche is like these guys.

Mitchell,
First off, I apologize if I came off brash and/or insulting. The tone of my post was directed to that "type" who seeks performance miracles and/or finds shortcomings in equipment, while ignoring entirely the significant role of the equipment operator! Which is why I love to see better drivers pass ME in lower-power cars; it reminds me that talent in anything comes first from within.
I certainly wasn't trying to "trash" you personally, (I thought I made my intentions clear in the second part of my post), but if I came across poorly, my apologies. I certainly was making no assumptions about you or your driving skills. I was simply replying with reference to your previous post where you say you hadn't had any track time, but did attend a Porsche Track Day at Sears Point. In what was obviously a rash conclusion on my part, I inferred incorrectly that your comment did not mean "no" track experience; you were simply being specific to the Porsche. "Duh," on my part.
