Russell, Just to weigh in on the serial/usb issue, I deal with this every day when tuning aftermarket EFI ECUs. The serial to USB adapters are a pain and give me constant problems. I wish the new laptops would come with a serial port because it would make my life much easier, however, they don't and probably won't I'd suggest offering USB as the interface port.

Well since we spoke today you already know this, but for anyone else reading the Maxtronic comes with a USB connection. There will also be a remote mountable switch used to switch between numerous tune maps.
