Default Anodizing companies

I have a part that I would like stripped and re-anodized. Does anyone have experience with a company that can do this properly? I am in Maryland, so local would be a plus.

You can get powder coating that looks just like anodizing and may find a powder coating company more readily available to you close than an anodizing company. Anodizing uses a lot of different "baths" of chemicals which they generally dont like to do one piece at a time. Where powdercoating is safe and can be done almost anywhere so getting something done cheaply is much easier. I would guess that there is somebody within driving distance to you that does powder coating.

We have a guy local to us who does these shiny cherry colors in blue green red and when done it's super shiny and looks just like an anodized part, cheap too.

Andreas,
The first place I would look at for a jobshop is Finishing Magazines website.

Thanks for the replies. I have a few local sources for powdercoating, but in this case, prefer anodzing because of tolerances.
