Yessir, they are.

Bear in mind that this cams performs differently based on how the valve timing is set.

Other good cams for a modified 3.3 Turbo are the 964 ones, depending on what you want.

The SC cams provide improved low-end and mid range and the 964 cams have a bit better mid and top end power.

Both are much better than the 930 cams.

Do either of these cams 964 or SC require the piston to be machined for valve clearance?

PT:

SC cams have a LOT of flexibility,....you can set them at .9-1.1mm or 1.4-1.7mm to shift the power around a bit.

D:

No machining of 930 pistons are required as the pistons are a flat top design and these cams have modest lift and duration.

Thanks for the advice Steve... does setting it at 1.4-1.7mm favours more top end compared to 0.9-1.1mm?

Thanks.

PT:

.9-1.1mm favors mid and upper end power.

All,
Thanks for all the info. Just purchased a set of low mile Carrera cams and they are already on their way to WebCam for the drive installation.
