Price (no $ sign please): $1200
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (select ONLY those which apply): 996
Location (Region): West
Item Condition: Brand New

SOLD

Selling a new 996 GT3 cup rear bumper. It was made by MJ Motorsports. While I was waiting to get this bumper I sourced the factory PMsports Kevlar bumper so I jumped on that deal. This bumper is 100% dry Carbon Fiber. I have seen the bumpers that other competitors make, and this is much, much better. It is already boxed and ready to ship. I think normally it sells for $1800. I got a little better deal on it as I just bought a ton of items from them. Looking for $1200 plus shipping. I have an account with YRC so will try to get best deal for shipping I can. Will also compare with UPS.

Bumper is located in Troutdale, Or.

Bumper is at the shop that will be doing the install and paint part of this project. When I got word that the PMNA bumper was enroute, I had them pack it back in original packing to be ready to sell/ship. I did not get any photos of it when open. Sorry. If someone is really interested I can try to get down to that shop and get photos. It might take me a few days.

It is not painted. I think it is ready for primer and paint.

Can you provide a link to a website that will have a picture of this bumper?

There is no website that I know of. I will try to get some pictures, but it won't be until next week at the earliest. Sorry

If you want any specific details you can PM MJSpeed. His company makes them. I just spoke with him the other day and he was telling me he just sold a lot of 50 of these to some race teams in Europe. In any case the quality is very good. It would be on my car already but I just wanted to use the factory part so to keep some sense of factory original to the car (either thou I just changed my exhaust system).

This is an MJ Speed part.
Excellent fit and just the right of amount of weave telegraphing through the paint.

Thanks for the post . Yes, looks like that:

edit: the tow hook hole is on my bumper. just needs the actually opening to be cut out. so it looks like the one pictures above but with the option of the tow hook.

Default 996 gt3 rear bumper

Does the bumper have the cutout / shape for the factory tow hook? also, what carrier shipped that? I have seen how ups and fed x treat boxes like that.
I cracked my factory one and it is out for repair now, but it would be nice to have an extra one. how much do you think it would cost to ship to a business address in Joliet, IL ( autobahn country club )?

Yes, factory tow cut out is there. But the actually opening has to be cut out as do license plate lights.
It was delivered by UPS. But no issues were noted buy my shop.
Can get an estimate tomorrow.

thanks, if you want to email me off list
jeff.corey AT microchicago.com

out of curiosity, does PMNA still sell these pieces? I have mine off the car being repaired, but it would be good to have a spare for racing. This seems like a fairly fragile panel. If I ever sell the cup car, 2003 996 GT3 cup, I think I would get a better dollar with OEM parts.
