I honestly haven't noticed that to be the case. The little black rubber nubs provide a pretty good grip. If the pedals were just knurled aluminum, I'd agree with you. In the summer I often drive barefoot when I'm wearing sandals and they're plenty comfortable that way too

Yep, they are slippery,use to have a set, got rid of them for that same reason.,cheers, Sonny.
