Private or Vendor Listing: Vendor Listing
Part fits (select ONLY those which apply): 987, 996, 997
Location (Region): SoCAl
Item Condition: Used

Back by popular demand.....ClearPlex Windshield Protection Film Group Buy. I checked with the manufacturer, our Group Buy #2 must comply with new pricing policy of 25% off MSRP. That said, ClearPlex.com MSRP is $285. Precision Autowerks Group Buy #2 Price is $215.00.

Available Precut/Preformed Kits:
1) 991
2) 997
3) 996
4) 987

Included in price: Shipping, ClearX HD conditioner, Install Tools. NO OTHER Kits are available at this time.

This will be a "pay as you go" Group Buy! Send in your order when you are ready to purchase. I only have 30 kits allocated by ClearPlex to sell at this price....once they are gone, we go back to regular pricing which will be $250. (which is still a RennList discount over MSRP!) Sorry folks, as ClearPlex corporate raises their prices, so must Precision Autowerks. So, TAKE ADVANTAGE of this limited supply opportunity.

Order by sending $215 to paypal account pawparts@gmail.com

Please explain the advantages. I can get a new windshield for $50 ($100 comprehensive insurance deductible, windshield replacement company pays $50).

My biggest issues with replacing the glass include fighting with insurance to get an OE Glass and a poor installation which can result in creaking, vibration, scratches in paint, damaged trim and poor trim installation. I have seen all of these issues with previous glass replacement.

Why not protect and keep the original glass with proper installation?

I understand your situation. Some states and some insurance companies make it nice and easy for you to just replace your windshield. In those cases, it's preference not necessity to put ClearPlex on your glass. If your insurance company replaces with OEM, then you are set. If they put "china" glass in to replace, then that is a different story. My personal opinion, is that I don't want the factory seal on the windshield broken.

Thanks for the orders everyone! Remember that I only have a small allocation of kits for this Group Buy! ClearPlex Skins will be going up to $250 when the allocation of the original 30 kits run out!

Any installers near Philadelphia, PA? It looks fairly easy but I don't have someone to give me a 2nd pair of hands..

BTW, I already received the package from you (haven't had a chance to open it yet). Thank you!! Super fast shipping!
