Fellow rennlister TonyG (Tony Garcia) has the capability to produce fiberglass replicas of a 924 GTS rear spoiler. He has a mold made from the one pictured on his car here:

http://www.tonygarcia.org/944V8/

Which is a match to the factory piece (with the exception of the "PORSCHE" script) here:

He's taking the mould to the fiberglass shop next week to have one made for me. If anyone else is interested he stated he would have additional pieces made. The price is $400 shipped via Greyhound anywhere in the US. This includes packaging.

By comparison I contacted A.I.R. a few weeks ago and they quoted me a price of $430 before packaging and shipping which was approximately an additional $150. I believe that GT Racing prices their current piece at $435. I did not get a shipping quote from them.

Since these are going to be done in fiberglass the "PORSCHE" script across the back can be filled in with body filler before you prime and paint if it's not your style.

BTW, I'm not making any money or discount for posting this. My price from Tony is $400 as well. I had asked him if he would make more for any interested listers. Just passing on a good thing.

You can contact Tony directly on his page here:

How is the fitment on this compared to A.I.R.? I am looking for the spoiler but it has to fit right.

I never did get around to posting pics of the finished product mounted to the car (better late than never) so here they are:

The wing on Tony G's car appears correct, the wing on the black car above is not. The script is larger on the factory spoiler. Fitment is difficult and takes time if you have the real deal.
Sounds like a great value at $400. I turned down $3000 for mine, which is the real deal.
I have to say it looks magnificent!

The spoiler on the black car is a direct copy from Tony's Mould. I filled in the moulded "PORSCHE" script during refinishing and put on a smaller decal that I picked up from fellow Rennlister "Van".
