Just wanted to say props on the garage- looks like the space I'm in the middle of building! I may have to go dark gray on my walls after seeing this.

Thanks! I consider it man-cave meets operating room. It's only a two car garage, but it's not how big it is, it's how you use it.

Go for it Chris. I tried to think 'outside the box' so ended up with 2"x4"s turned on their side and cross screwed. Then I ran two steel rods through each side to add to my piece of mind. They are heavy as hell, but each side is actually two halves that separate (interlaced) so they can be moved and stored more easily. The best part of the design is that I was able to cut the 2"x4"s to my desired angle, which makes the approach angle on the ramp very, very gradual.

I hope the Pepper is treating you well.

Cheers,
-Mike

That's an excellent design -- great idea, I'll be borrowing that, too. Mike, how do you like the scissor lift? I don't have room for a two-poster but am sick of jacking, jacking, jacking.

Good price on wheels/tires, btw. Wish they fit my Boxster S!

Hi Peter, I consider the scissor lift as essential as any tool I own. Initially it was just something cool that I thought would make my life a little simpler. Now I can't imagine not having one.

A buddy of mine says he can make these ramps for anyone interested. They would be in sections and on a pallet, so freight shipping would apply. If you're interested in a set let me know and I'll have him work up a door-to-door price.

As for everyone who is asking about the wheels, here are some additional details;

Fronts: 8" wide with 57 Offsets and 235/35 R19s
Rears: 11" wide with 67 Offsets and 305/30 R19s

To the fellow from New Jersey who called me about coming to see them and possibly taking them tomorrow, please call me back as I have misplaced your number.

There is one small spot that I was not aware of initially, but I have photographed it in the interest of FULL disclosure.

Thanks,
Mike
