Default Help Please With 240V Installation

So I am having solar panels installed on my home and as part of the installation they are going to put in a 240V outlet for the charging of my upcoming Porsche Panamera e-Hybrid. It is not clear to me exactly what I should have them install?? I ordered my 2018 e-Hybrid with the onboard charger. I am located in California. Please advise what the optimum installation option would be. Thanks.

Read below. In addition, make sure to have 50A wiring so that sustained 40A draw is safe and future proof. Outlet can be either NEMA 14-50 or 6-50 if you want to buy an adapter from Porsche for $200. NEMA 14-50 and 6-50 are commonly used for other appliances and cars in US. If you want to use the original industrial 3-phase plug that comes with your Porsche, you will need a 5 pole 16A/32A (depends on the charger that came with your car, and be sure to use matching wiring and breaker) IP44 CEE socket, which is not common in U.S. But if you are an engineer, you can do it. Just use two of the three phases on the plug and use the 180deg 240V on the two lower pins and it will work. Hint, CEE sockets can be ordered from eBay from sellers in Germany. I did mine and it's awesome. However, local electricians have no clue what it is, and so you have to remove it when you sell the house.

I ordered the 14-50 supply cable at no extra charge with my e-Hybrid so I'm having the installer of my solar panels put in a 240V outlet with the 14-50 connection. I know they are aware it needs a 50 amp breaker. Thanks for your inputs.
