Question 2017 Panameras: Speed Limit Warning

Question for those of you with a 2017 Panamera: If you set a speed limit warning, does it stay "active" after you shut the car off? In my car, the speed setting itself remains in memory, but it goes inactive automatically when I turn the car off. The next time I drive the car, if I want to use the warning again, I have to manually set it to "active" in the cluster display. Have any of you had a chance to try this feature? How does it behave in your car?

I have not tried that function yet, I will and report back. I have had an issue twice that the cruise control on/off switch will not function to turn the cruise control on until I have turned off the car and then restarted the car again.
