Is the Panamera Noisy ??
Good Morning fellas!
Quick question.
I am currently searching for a pre-owned Panamera (facelift) 4S or Turbo.
I've been in a panamera only once and it was really noisy after 100km/h.
Tire noise that is.
The thing is, that panamera was in a bad condition and had wrong tires on it (wrong dimensions or something).
Coming from a Cayenne 958 diesel, I would like a vehicle that is comfortable and quite when cruising.
Is the noise level even close to the performance limousines? (S8, 750, S63)?

Have a 4S with air suspension since 2013, put already more than 40k miles on it.
I only use only Pirelli PZero, and ..sometime I shut the watch on the dashboard, because of the "tic-tac"noise !
I think this should fully answer your question !
It is by far the best car I ever had, (i.e.: in the past two BM series 7) silent and comfy like you cannot believe.
We also have a 2011 CTT, but, compared to the P4S, it is a very stiff truck, just nothing to compare at all with the P4S, (..but, it is true: nothing is better than a CTT to tow !)
I think if you can find one that has the thermal/noise insulating glass, then, what is perfect will be even better! (I'm looking to have it for our next Panamera.)
..BUT, get one that is CPO, otherwise it could be a "killer" (I had things like: coolant pipes, high pressure fuel pump, camshaft sprocket bolts (bent valves), ..etc !)
My two cents, ..that could be a real LOT more !

GVA-SFO... Will take your advice brother. You are the only one that came from a 7 and can compare it for me. Thanks for the amazing advice.
Also, you got any idea of the windows can be retrofitted?

Well, thinking about the windows, I can only suppose that answer is yes, as, i.e.: what's up if you have this option, ..and broke one ? It has to be fixed, right !
Now, multiplying this by the number of windows, should most probably bring up a crazy high bill !
About our two "7", to be really honest, it was too long ago to make that comp valid !
The good comp I have is CTT v.s.: P4S, as, this is our current "choice".
(I also have an old Boxster, but, this is mostly a track car ! I often joke that our CTT offer a ride comfort that is stiffer than the Boxster, ..which is equipped with PSS9 that are set as low as possible, or a suspension that is as flexible as a kitchen table made with solid oak can be, all of this on "semi-slick" tires !)
My problem with the current 7 is that to my eyes, the 7 offers the same level of elegance of a Sherman M4. So, for the people that criticize the Panamera, ..I have very little respect ! (To my eyes, only two berlines looks nicer than the Panamera : the Tesla S and the Aston Martin Rapide. As one cannot be tank refilled in less than 5 minutes and the other is a little too much exotic, ..I'm not ready to move out yet !)
