Seems like most luxury brands have been making china only extended wheelbase cars for years now, so not surprising porsche would too. I have never understood why, seems like less of a need vs here is US for example. In china people are shorter, and roads less accommodating to such larger cars. It's a status thing, and they are willing to pay!

The reason is many of these luxury cars in China are chauffeur driven.
