Default Side skirts

Thoughts on changing order on my GTS to include painted side skirts?

PLatinum silver metalllic. I am leaning toward leaving well enough alone as the matte black makes the car look more sporty to me, and differentiates it from other Panny models. Was just curious if any others opted to paint their skirts on the GTS

I will try to post some pics this weekend of my platinum silver gts, side skirts aren't painted. I didn't like it at first, but now I think it's cool. Looks really nice up close, but took awhile to get used to when looking at from a distance. If I had to order another one, I wouldn't have them painted. Kinda makes the car look different.

Thanks Dis....I think I am have reached same conclusion as you, but I have two days left before they "lock" my order, and I am getting last minute schizophrenia. I am pretty sure I will leave them unpainted, but would love to see some pics of your car. Thanks

painted side skirts is free in Canada unless u get the sport ones. i can barley see the difference in the sport so that makes no sense to me. as to the painted, agree with above - makes it look lower, finished and not like a asian or US with plastic.

get the rear apron and skirts painted - lots of pic's on the net & i can't see you regretting it with a lighter colour GTS.

Unpainted makes car not look so high/tall....thus longer. Also hides scuffs.

Thus I prefer UNpainted. BUT I would paint rear fascia, breaks up the overly linear lower end.

Jup...I think that is a great idea. My wife and I studied the website pics, and I agree changed my order to have the rear lower fascia painted, but not the diffuser or the skirts. Looks like painting the rear lower fascia alone will definitely break up that monotone butt. This way, the pipes will be matte, the diffuser matte, and the rest of the rear platinum silver. Good call my man!

It's winter so I have my snow shoes on, normally have Turbo II wheels. However, with all the black trim on the car, I think the black wheels look nice.
