For the record, the Sport Steering wheel has a stalk below it that replicates 90% of what the MF steering wheel does. Negligible difference in functionality, in my personal opinion. The stalk feels very unintuitive for some. So it may be down to your personal preference of which unintuitive option bugs you less -- the stalk or the wheel.

I have the MF wheel and I love it. If I could do it all over again, I'd go with the Sport Steering wheel. However, it may just be a case of me wanting what I don't have. Note that you could "patch" the MF wheel with an expensive aftermarket solution. I thought I read that TechArt offers something.

Thanks MPac at this point, I am 99% going with the Sport wheel It just seems to befitting of the car/

It's funny, as over the yhears, I have jokingly "teased" others that have posted questions as they are prepping their build. Now I get it...it is f'in nervewracking!! Too many darn choices. Anyway, although leasing the car (to take advantage of the tax breaks of business ownership), I am building it as if I may want to buy it post lease. I normally get very bored with my cars after 3-36 months (even my last 997s), but from what I havebeen hearing and reading, this is a special car....I feel very very lucky that I am about to order one of my own.

I appreciate all of the help.

So I've been able to spend some time with a GTS and a 4S now both without PDCC (everyone in my family are getting Panameras now!), and I think PDCC noticeably improves comfort and stability in a straight line. If you don't drive in cities, or if you have great roads everywhere, maybe that's not as big as issue.

If you do get the carmine red interior, I would order the matching leather key case. I did not do that, and I regret it now. If I had to do it again, I'd get that and probably the painted key as well.

here's another pic of the interior if that helps. Notice the red stitching extends over the trunk iff you get the leather trunk cover.

On the steering wheel, I have the sport wheel and the extra stalk does give you most of what you need, except for the volume and phone controls. I did miss those for a couple of weeks (coming from a car that had them), but then you get used to going to the center for those. Now it's not a big issue.

I think missing the paddles would be a bigger issue for me personally. I love the paddles.

yes def getting the paddles at this point Love the CR interior, but seems spendy for $3500

Anyway, I started a quick separate post, but what types of discounts from MSRP have people received? Once I megotiate that number, since leasing the car, the rest is simply formulaic given the current money factor and the stated residual

I'll post the build I agreed to later....At present, I opted for the carbon fiber interior package...just looked cool, and matched the carbon door sill inserts illuminated (which looked awesome). However, it is a pricy option and not sure that the wife likes it. If she wins this one, I cannot find pics of what the standard interior would look like. I am getting the black leather with alcantara inserts. what would all the trim be in? standard piano black?

Cole328, congratulations on your order! How long before you get it? I ordered my Pan GTS several months ago and it arrived by ship in Hawaii yesterday. It was supposed to be unloaded and prepped by the dealer yesterday, and I was supposed to pick it up today, but there was a delay in unloading cars from the ship, so I won't get it until Monday. Can't wait.
